IHCL has appointed Ashok Singh Rathore, Area Director – Jaipur & Ajmer and General Manager, Rambagh Palace, Jaipur an enhanced portfolio as Area Director – Rajasthan and General Manager – Rambagh Palace, Jaipur.
A quintessential hotelier, known for his sense of empathy, Ashok Singh Rathore is an operations veteran, with a deep understanding of the Rajasthan market. He has passionately driven the Paathya framework in his region, establishing some benchmarking practices.
His career with IHCL spans more than 35 years, having joined the organization in 1987, as a part of the front office team of Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur, followed by a stint at Taj Sheba Hotel, Sanaa before going on to head the Accommodations team at Blue Diamond, Pune.
Thereafter, Ashok went on to lead the team at Taj Usha Kiran Palace, Gwalior as its General Manager before returning to Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur, this time as its General Manager. He has since been providing strategic leadership to IHCL hotels in Jaipur and Ajmer.
Ashok Singh Rathore will continue to report to the Executive Vice President – Operations, North & West India.
