Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi appointed Chef Sachin Talwar as the Director of Culinary.
With a rich and diverse culinary background, Chef Talwar brings a wealth of experience from around the world and across India to his new role at Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi.
Chef Sachin Talwar’s journey in the culinary world is deeply rooted in his family’s heritage. Although his family originally hails from the Sindh region, Chef Talwar’s grandfather relocated them to West Bengal. His passion for the culinary arts led him to pursue a degree in hotel management at The International Institute of Hotel Management, Calcutta, where he successfully graduated in 2000.
During his time in college, Chef Sachin Talwar’s talent and dedication were recognized by the Trident Udaipur where he received comprehensive training in both European and Indian cooking techniques, with a special focus on the French culinary tradition.
Following this invaluable experience, Chef Sachin Talwar joined the pre-opening team of the Babylon Group of Hotels, a 5-star hotel located in Raipur. Subsequently, he became part of the Fortune group, taking on the role of Sous-Chef at the Fortune Murali Park property in Vijayawada. Over two years, he worked his way up to Chef in Charge.
Chef Sachin Talwar continued to make his mark in the culinary world, moving on to the Double Tree by Hilton group (now Four Points by Sheraton) where he played a pivotal role in the pre-opening of the property as the Executive Chef. He then embarked on a five-year journey with Lemon Tree Hotels, serving as the Senior Executive Chef. During this time, he focused on cuisine spanning American, Indian, and European traditions.
From March 2015 to December 2017, Chef Sachin Talwar held the prestigious position of Executive Chef at WelcomHotel Bengaluru. Post that he was offered the position of Executive Chef at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort from December 2017 to January 2019. His recent assignment was with Hyatt Regency Lucknow and IAM Institute of Hotel Management as Director of Operations.
