Mortimer Chatterjee, Curator – The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai feels, “I am excited to curate an exhibition with works drawn from the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel’s remarkable art collection. ‘A Room with a View’ presents paintings by artists who, through their works, enact the role of traveller. This seems a particularly apt context for the Taj, a storied space marinated in the world of travel and in creating a home away from home.”
The Taj interprets the tradition of Indian hospitality in a refreshingly modern way by creating unique experiences and memories that echo various art forms and cultural nuances. The aim is to forge connections that transcend time, leaving indelible impressions enduring a lifetime.
