Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has announced the appointment of Chef Sajid Salim Patel as the new Executive Chef.
With over 14 years of extensive professional experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Sajid brings a wealth of culinary expertise and innovation to our esteemed property.
Chef Sajid, a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Management Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Kitchen Management (OCLD), embarked on his illustrious career in 2008. He has since accumulated valuable experience working with renowned hotels such as Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai (The Oberoi Group), JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, and Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road.
Prior to joining Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, Chef Sajid Salim Patel served as the Executive Chef at Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a keen ability to manage the entire spectrum of Food Operations, including menu planning, food production, monitoring food processing, and ensuring compliance with quality and hygiene standards. His hands-on cooking experience spans Japanese cuisine (Sushi Kitchen), Cold Food Preparation, Catering Operation, and Indian, Western, and Oriental cuisine.
Chef Sajid’s impressive list of accomplishments includes receiving the Best Cafe Award in 2016, the Best Sunday Brunch Award in 2017 by Easy Diner Foodie, and being recognized as the Most Admired Chef in 2022 by the World Leadership Congress Awards. He has also clinched a Bronze Medal at the Great Indian Culinary Challenge, Mumbai. Further accolades include being honored by IHC London & IIHM as Hospitality Personality for his exemplary contributions at Courtyard and Fairfield Outer Ring Road.
