Sushma Khichar appointed new General Manager at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway

Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has announced the appointment of Sushma Khichar as the General Manager.

With over 18 years of professional experience in the service industry, Sushma brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her role.

Sushma has been a key contributor to driving revenues, enhancing guest service, and optimizing overall support functions throughout her illustrious career. Her journey with Marriott International began in 2006, and since then, she has consistently demonstrated exemplary decision-making skills in senior management roles.

Holding a Diploma in Travel & Tourism and a B.Sc. from the University of Rajasthan, Sushma’s career commenced as a Front Office Assistant at The Oberoi, Mumbai. Over the years, she has extensive experience working with renowned hotels, including Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, JW Marriott Mussoorie, JW Marriott Chandigarh, Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai and The Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre, Mumbai.

Before taking on her role as General Manager at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, Sushma served as the Cluster General Manager at Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road.

Sushma’s leadership qualities, strong technical acumen and motivation to deliver results and achieve objectives have earned her numerous accolades. She is known for her clear thinking, flawless execution and unyielding integrity. Her expertise spans strategic business planning, P&L management, guest relationship building, pre-opening operations and team building.

Throughout her career, Sushma Khichar has received prestigious awards including the General Manager of the Year Award for Spirit to Serve our Guests APEC 2020 from Marriott International. Her demonstrated pre-opening expertise has contributed to the successful launches of various Marriott properties.
