Prior to this, Chef Suresh Baabu served as Executive Sous-Chef at W Maldives. With a culinary journey marked by exceptional achievements, Chef Suresh Baabu’s expertise is a testament to his passion for innovation and sustainability.
Chef Suresh Babu’s culinary prowess, honed through specialized education in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, including a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, is complemented by his experience in prestigious royal kitchens and collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs.
Noteworthy accolades, such as spearheading the 2023 Eatwell Promotion at the Westin Maldives and earning the Lux Awards for Best Sustainable Outlet in 2022, underscore Chef Baabu’s commitment to sustainable and plant-based cuisine.
Recognition as the Best Plant-Based Chef in the UAE by Upfield in 2021 and winning the Best Plant-Based Dish by BBC Middle East further highlight his culinary excellence. With his anticipated role at the Kochi Marriott Hotel, Chef Suresh Baabu promises to infuse his innovative and sustainable approach into the hotel’s culinary offerings, setting the stage for a gastronomic journey like no other.
