Neelabh Sahay appointed new Director of Operations at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach

Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach has announced the appointment of Neelabh Sahay as the new Director of Operations.

In his new role, Neelabh Sahay will be overseeing the overall operations of the hotel and developing and implementing operational strategies to secure market positioning of the hotel.

Prior to joining Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, Neelabh was associated with Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences as the Director of Food & Beverage, where he was responsible for the food & beverage operations along with culinary department. A diligent professional with over 18 years of experience in his field, Neelabh has been credited with organizing many successful initiatives and was honoured with ‘Food & Beverage Person of the Year’ in Accor South Asia Hotel Awards for 2024.

Neelabh pursued his Bachelors in Science – Hospitality Administration from IHM Pusa, New Delhi and graduated the management program for Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development in the culinary department. Within the hospitality industry, his career took a start with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts as a Chef and he eventually transitioned to Food & Beverage operations at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences.

Commenting on his appointment, Vishal Gupta, General Manager, Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach said, “We’re thrilled to have Neelabh join our team at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. With his experience in the F&B realm we plan to reposition our restaurants and bars. To create a niche in the market. We look forward to continuing to innovate and grow together in this new position. “

On his appointment, Neelabh Sahay mentioned, “I am excited to be a part of the Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach family and look forward to reinventing the food and beverage to a more global, chic and concept based spaces.”

Outside the realm of work, he enjoys reading and enhancing his knowledge on the latest global technology. Having been a chef, he unwinds by trying new recipes combining unusual flavour profiles to create something new.
