Amaresh Kumar has been promoted as Manager- Operations, MySpace Hotels, a unit of Great Destinations Hotels & Resorts.
Prior to this he spearheaded the Housekeeping Department at Vividus Hotel in Bangalore as Director – housekeeping. Amaresh Kumar has been a part of Vividus Hotel since 2018.
He has successfully embedded the learning and development culture in the operational DNA of Vividus Hotel. This helped ensure teams demonstrate the right behaviors and soft skills towards guests and fellow colleagues, resulting in outstanding service excellence. He has created Pinnacle ( A Guide for Management trainees ).
Amaresh Kumar has over 12 years of experience in Hospitality Industry and has worked for brands like Starwood, Sheraton, Four points by Sheraton, Lalit Ashok, Radisson, Marriott etc.
He has done BHM from Calicut University & Diploma in International Hospitality from AHLA. He also holds an MBA degree from Bharathiar University. Furthermore he completed PhD in Tourism & Hotel Management from BRA University.
In his spare time, Amaresh Kumar enjoys writing articles, reading, watching movies, and exploring new destinations.
