Oterra Hotels has announced the appointment of Raghu Nair as its new Chief Operating Officer.
A seasoned hospitality leader with a proven track record of success, Nair brings a wealth of experience to The Oterra Hotels.
Nair’s career path is an inspiration to aspiring hoteliers. From his beginnings as a bar in-charge, he meticulously climbed the ranks at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), excelling as Outlet Manager, F&B Director, and eventually Executive Assistant Manager.
In his previous role as General Manager of The Oterra Hotel, Nair spearheaded an aggressive expansion strategy across India, encompassing a diverse range of hotels from budget-friendly options to luxurious escapes. He is also a passionate advocate for creating a “people-centric” work environment.
Under his leadership, Velankani Hospitality Division is a strong advocate for the “NET ZERO” vision, prioritizing sustainable operations across its properties.
Nair’s guest and people-centric approach is a cornerstone of his philosophy. Renowned for his approachability, he thrives on interacting with guests, ensuring a truly personalized experience. This, combined with his exceptional food and beverage expertise and keen financial acumen, promises an exciting future for The Oterra Hotels.
