THSC Leadership meets with the Hon’ble Minister to Discuss Skilling Initiatives in Tourism and Hospitality.
Company’s Chairperson, Jyoti Mayal along with CEO Rajan Bahadur and Vivek Shandilya met the Hon’ble Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (I/C), Govt of India Shri Jayant Chaudhary at Kaushal Bhavan, New Delhi.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble Minister talked about various scopes in the field of Tourism and Hospitality and how skilling can help youth find meaningful employment opportunities.
Jyoti Mayal and Rajan Bahadur briefly explained the various initiatives like PMKVY, PMVK and RTD being taken by the company under the purview of MSDE and in the guidance of NCVET & NSDC.
More skilling with states, especially North East and Tourism Ministry were discussed and to meet again soon to plan a way forward.
