Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center has announced the appointment of Chef Hardeep Singh as Chef de Cuisine.
With over a decade of culinary expertise gathered from esteemed brands across India and Dubai, Chef Hardeep brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Starting his culinary journey as a commis chef with Jaypee Hotels in Agra back in 2013, Chef Hardeep steadily ascended through various culinary positions, accumulating a diverse knowledge base along the way. His talent was recognized early on when he achieved the title of First Runner Up at the prestigious AAHAR Delhi food festival while working with Crowne Plaza.
He further honed his skills and contributed significantly to the success of renowned restaurants such as JW Marriott’s “K3” and the internationally acclaimed “Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor” at Canvas M Gallery by Accor, Dubai. In his most recent role as Sous Chef at Hyatt Andaz, Chef Hardeep played a pivotal role in elevating their food hall, “Annamaya,” to the status of “Award-Winning Food Hall of the Year.”
Throughout his career, Chef Hardeep Singh has remained steadfast in his commitment to preserving the traditional flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine. He adeptly blends these time-honored methods with a modern touch, resulting in innovative and delightful dishes. His passion for exploration extends beyond conventional boundaries, as he continually experiments with new ingredients and local flavors. With a deep-rooted connection to his origins in Punjab and the undivided Punjab Northwest Frontier cuisine, Chef Hardeep’s culinary journey reflects his profound love for Indian cuisine, particularly for its local flavors and traditional cooking.
As Chef de Cuisine at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center, Chef Hardeep will oversee the operations of the newly launched Indian speciality restaurant, Zarf. Under his guidance, Zarf promises to redefine the dining experience, offering guests an unforgettable culinary journey marked by creativity, authenticity, and a flavorful exploration of India’s diverse culinary landscape.
