Radisson Resort Khopoli has announced the appointment of Prakash Shankar as the new General Manager, effective 2nd September 2024.
With over 23 years of experience in the Indian hospitality sector, Prakash Shankar will lead the hotel’s launch and operations, focusing on efficiency and guest experiences.
Having a diverse background with renowned hotel brands such as The Regent, Taj, Marriott, Zuri, and Radisson, he has demonstrated success in pre-opening, rebranding, and managing operations across India. He brings with him an incredible wealth of knowledge and fresh ideas that will enable community engagement, sustainability, growth and expansion, and meaningful collaborations.
In his new role Prakash will oversee various tasks to ensure the effective functioning of the hotel.
Prakash Shankar said, as a general manager being at the forefront of the hotel staff, overseeing operations, and always ensuring guest satisfaction will be my top priority. I personally follow the philosophy of ‘People First’, be it guest or employee, which is achieved by establishing shared values, balancing accountability with autonomy, and modelling by example. am determined to do my best to strengthen the brand and will ensure that all our patrons have memorable experiences at our property.”
An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, and holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University, Prakash brings skills such as strategic planning, quality assurance, general administration, resource management, business development, and training to his new role.
Prakash describe himself as a person with vision, who inspires and motivates others to follow and has an impact that lasts long.
