Atmosphere Core has announced the appointment of Imran Alam as Associate Director of Sales at Ozen Mansion Kolkata, a luxury property under pre-opening.

With an extensive background in sales and hospitality, Imran Alam brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this pivotal role.

Prior to joining Atmosphere Core, Alam held several key positions within Marriott International. As Senior Sales Manager at The Westin Kolkata, he played a crucial role in driving strategic sales initiatives, surpassing revenue targets, and elevating the brand’s market position. Before this, he successfully transitioned from Assistant Sales Manager to Sales Manager at JW Marriott Kolkata, where he adeptly managed sales operations, nurtured client relationships, and spearheaded market expansion.

Alam’s career trajectory began with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, where he served as Assistant Sales Manager, overseeing key account management, developing comprehensive sales plans, and executing high-impact marketing strategies. His tenure at Shangri-La further honed his expertise in sales management and customer engagement.

His earlier roles include a tenure with The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, where he advanced from Sales Executive in the Events department to Assistant Sales Manager. Here, he gained deep insight into event sales and hospitality operations, contributing to the success of the group’s high-profile events.

Adding to his global experience, Alam worked with Africa Flight Services Tanzania at the Transit Duty-Free Shop, where he refined his sales and customer service capabilities in a dynamic, international environment. His leadership journey began at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group in Kolkata, where he served as Team Leader, managing operations and ensuring seamless team performance.

Imran Alam’s career in hospitality started with The Oberoi Group as a Front Office Assistant, where he built a solid foundation in guest services and hotel operations. His industry knowledge was further enhanced during an internship at Cidade de Goa, offering him valuable hands-on experience.

Academically, Alam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Annamalai University and an MBA in International Business from Sikkim Manipal University – Distance Education. His educational qualifications, combined with his extensive industry experience, position him as a strategic leader capable of delivering innovative sales solutions and elevating market presence.

As he embarks on this new chapter at Atmosphere Core – Ozen Mansion Kolkata (Pre-Opening), Alam is expected to leverage his rich expertise and forward-thinking approach to implement transformative sales strategies that will drive growth and reinforce the property’s market leadership.
