Hyatt Regency Kolkata has announced the appointment of Animesh Barat as the new General Manager effective 7 October, 2024
Animesh is an alumni of IHM Lucknow. He started his hospitality journey with Marriott in 1998 as Management Trainee in Food and Beverage and continued to work with the company in different roles. He joined Hyatt in 2019 as General Manager at Hyatt Regency Thrissur.
Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Kolkata, Animesh was associated with the Hyatt Place Hyderabad Banjara Hills; where he led the team with his exceptional Leadership abilities.
Commenting on his appointment, Animesh Bharat said, “ I am thrilled to be in the City of Joy and I look forward to establish connections, build a culture of excellence and drive our “Purpose of Care” for all our stakeholders.”
