As a part of the Rendezvous series, The Chambers presented a Rendezvous with Gauri Khan in association with HSBC and Penguin Random House India on the launch of her book – MY LIFE IN DESIGN. Actor, Shah Rukh Khan graced the book launch of his wife, Gauri.

The evening witnessed Mille Aishwarya, Publisher, Penguin House in a candid conversation with Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Puneet Chattwal, Managing Director & CEO, IHCL along with Hitendra Dave, CEO, HSBC were present for the occasion.
The elegant evening was hosted at the beautiful Garden view at the Taj Lands End with a delectable high tea spread created by Chef Rohit Sangwan. Rendezvous is based on three pillars – Epicurean, Engage and Entertain – providing a collection of curated experiences from culinary delights and drinks, moderated panel discussions and performances by the best in Art & Culture, Music and Stand-Up Comedy.
My Life in Design features unseen images of her house, Mannat, and her family. Khan strikes the perfect balance between her sense of design and personality, and factors in the client’s brief while transforming a space into something that the user can truly call their own.
She uses her quiet, elegant style and charming-yet-sophisticated aesthetic to create a space the client can enjoy. In her coffee table book, My Life in Design, she charts out her journey as a designer with exclusive pictures of her and her family – Shah Rukh, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.
