Hilton has announced the appointment of Abhishek Rajagolkar as the new Regional Director of Sales Operations for South Asia, effective 1st October 2024
With an impressive 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Abhishek brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Hilton team.
In his new role, Abhishek will lead the sales operations function across Hilton South Asia estate and will be based out of Hilton’s regional headquarters in Gurugram. He will ensure Hilton continue to grow the performance of sales-influenced segments and ultimately increase the market share by implementing the right structures, providing comprehensive training, refining processes, and deploying innovative strategies.
Previously, Abhishek served as the Area Director of Sales and Distribution for Marriott South, East India including Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. During his tenure, he focused extensively on driving both on-property and above-property sales, customer acquisition, and owner relationships. He spearheaded strategic plans and tactical initiatives that led to significant commercial success in his territory. Abhishek has also worked with renowned hospitality brands such as Accor and Taj.
Outside of work, Abhishek enjoys a variety of activities and loves the outdoors. As an avid biker, his passion for travel often leads him on road trips to explore new places.
