Sayaji Hotels has announced the promotion of Ajay Kanojia to Cluster General Manager.
In his new role, Ajay Kanojia will develop and implement strategic plans for multiple properties, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals of Sayaji Hotels. He will oversee daily operations, maintaining high standards of service and efficiency across all properties, while leading and mentoring General Managers and senior staff. Ajay will also foster a positive work environment to ensure high employee satisfaction and retention.
Ajay Kanojia, a well-recognized industry veteran with almost 15 years of experience in the luxury and upscale hotel segment, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new position. Born and raised in Dehradun, Kanojia holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Punjab. His diverse experience includes working with esteemed hotel chains such as Hotel Park Plaza, Hotel Jay Pee Residency, and Lemon Tree Hotels.
Ajay Kanojia served a very successful tenure as a General Manager at Sayaji Hotels Pune, where he was responsible for delivering high levels of customer service resulting in successfully positioning the hotel at the top position in the competitive market. Known for his skills in sales and marketing, revenue analysis, yield management, and property management systems, Ajay has established himself as a stalwart in the hospitality industry.
As a passionate leader, he enjoys taking risks and imparting his knowledge through varied training programs. His strategic management style and astute business sense have consistently delivered the highest standards of service for all stakeholders.
