Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort has announced the appointment of Amiya Mehta as its new General Manager

With an extensive career in the hospitality industry, Amiya brings a wealth of experience, strategic insight and a proven track record of driving excellence to his new leadership role. In his capacity as General Manager, Amiya Mehta will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort. His primary focus will be on maintaining the highest standards of service, enhancing guest satisfaction and ensuring operational efficiency. With a commitment to upholding the brand’s reputation for excellence, Amiya is set to lead the property to new heights.
With an impressive track record spanning over 17 Years across multiple markets and brands like ITC Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Hyatt Hotels, Amiya brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team.
Before joining Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, he was associated with Andaz Delhi by Hyatt as Director of Sales & Marketing. During his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, contributing significantly to the hotel’s success through his focus on revenue growth and positioning Andaz Delhi as a preferred hotel in Delhi NCR, setting new milestones and breaking all records in terms of revenue and performance.
Outside of work, he has a few hobbies and interests that he is equally passionate about. He loves to play and enjoy sports like rugby, baseball, tennis.
