Ankita Sharma is an accomplished professional and has more than a decade of experience in the field of aviation and hospitality management.

Clarks Safari announced the appointment of Ankita Sharma as reservation manager, she will be managing corporate reservation system. All the Clarks properties spread across India, will have a central booking system, and Ankita will be heading that. Apart from this as reservation manager, her job will be to increase the revenue, suggest new initiatives in order to increase the booking, and train the staff under her.

A Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism offered by the Asian Institute of Development and Academics, she has a deep working knowledge of aviation and the hospitality industry. She has worked with renowned brands like Spice Jet Ltd, Qatar Airways, Air Asia India, Hotel Country Inn & Suites, and Vesta Hotel & Resorts.

Prior to the present assignment, she was working as a senior security agent with Qatar Airways. In her current job role, she will be responsible for developing new reservation processes, standardization of brand standards, designing corporate reservation strategy, and liaisoning with trade partners and government bodies.

Ankita Sharma, shares, “After the pandemic a huge shift has happened in the hospitality sector. Customers are more aware and while choosing a property they look for many factors. Also, the culture of long staycations has increased, and travel has taken a central spot in the upward mobile crowd. As a reservation manager, my priority will be to maintain brand standards and implement various schemes in order to attract the crowd. I will be implementing different promotional schemes, to benefit the customers. Also would be working closely with the trade partners to understand the pulse of the market. Also, regular training will be scheduled for the reservation staff, guiding them on new process implementation.”
