Marriott International has appointed Anuradha Venkatachalam as a Pre-opening Hotel Captain for Moxy Bengaluru Airport Prestige Tech Cloud.
After extensive international experience in the hospitality industry, spanning across the Middle East and South East Asia, Anuradha is set to take on her new role from her home ground in Bangalore, India with Marriott International. She started her career in the hospitality industry with IHG in 2010 at Crowne Plaza Bahrain before moving to Kuwait and Oman as her career progressed.
In addition to hotels within IHG, Anuradha also worked at the JW Marriott Kuwait as Cluster Director of Marketing Communications and PR. Subsequently, she returned to IHG in Singapore, where she held several key leadership positions within the Commercial and Operations domain. Anuradha worked most recently as Director of Operations at the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre.
Anuradha Venkatachalam is a passionate and committed team builder who believes in the true spirit of hospitality that keeps people at the centre of its business purpose. A strong voice and ally of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, Anuradha has also mentored many promising hoteliers, especially emerging female leaders. Looking ahead, she aspires to maintain her commitment to coaching and mentoring the next generation of hotel industry professionals.
Anuradha likes to put her leisure hours to creative use by indulging in art, listening to music or trekking along scenic nature trails.
