Crowne Plaza New Delhi Mayur Vihar has announced the appointment of Arun Paliwal as the Area Director of Human Resources for IHG South West Asia, in addition to his role as Director of Human Resources at the hotel
A seasoned hospitality professional with over 17 years of experience in Human Resources, Arun brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his new role. He has previously held pivotal roles at prominent brands such as Leisure Hotels Group, where he served as Chief Human Resources Officer, and managed HR strategies for an impressive portfolio of hotels. He has also worked with Vana Wellness Retreat, Dehradun (rebranded as Six Senses Vana under IHG in 2022), Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad, Holiday Inn Amritsar, Lemon Tree Premier, Red Fox Delhi, Lemon Tree Premier Hyderabad, Trident Udaipur, and The Oberoi Udaivilas.
This marks Arun’s second tenure with IHG, where he will bring his extensive experience to oversee human resources strategy across IHG hotels in North India. Arun’s strategic vision and people-centric approach will be central to ensuring that IHG’s global values are firmly rooted across the region. He will work collaboratively with leadership teams to foster a culture of inclusivity, growth and performance excellence, ensuring that IHG continues to lead with a workforce empowered to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Arun Paliwal holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from Udaipur, a PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing from Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur, and MBA from ICFAI National College, Udaipur. Outside of his professional achievements, Arun is passionate about singing and adventure rides, demonstrating his balanced approach to both work and life.
