With over 18 years of diverse and in-depth experience in the hospitality industry, Chandan brings with him a wealth of knowledge in F&B operations, restaurant and banquet management, and pre-opening expertise.

Chandan’s professional journey is marked by significant roles at some of the country’s most renowned hospitality brands. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Le Méridien, Kochi (March 2023 – August 2024), where he played a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction and streamlining service delivery. Prior to that, he was the Sales Manager at Reliance Retail, Bengaluru, handling B2B and HoReCa verticals (Aug 2021 – March 2023), further strengthening his operational acumen and business development skills.

His earlier tenures include leading F&B operations at Radisson Blu, Coimbatore and managing banquets and operations at Le Méridien, Coimbatore. He has also contributed significantly to pre-opening teams at The Westin Resort and Spa, Pushkar, The Leela Palace, Bengaluru, and Kempinski Ambience, New Delhi, honing his skills in launch strategy, team training, and quality control.

Chandan Kumar Roy began his career as a Team Member with Pride Park Premier and The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon, steadily climbing the ladder through consistent performance and leadership. His robust foundation in hospitality is backed by a Diploma in Hotel Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration, complemented by technical proficiency in platforms like MS Office, Micros, OPERA, and more.

In his new role at Courtyard by Marriott Ranchi, Chandan will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations. This includes developing innovative dining experiences, driving service excellence, managing quality control, and leading a passionate team across restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining. His deep-rooted understanding of menu engineering, cost optimization, and guest engagement will be instrumental in elevating the property’s culinary profile.
