Chef Dinesh Kumar appointed new Executive Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency, Chennai

Hyatt Regency, Chennai has announced the appointment of Chef Dinesh Kumar as the new Executive Sous chef.

In his new position, Chef Dinesh will be responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations of the hotel’s signature restaurants, including Spice Haat, Focaccia, and Stix. He will also oversee the food and beverage offerings for in-room dining, corporate events, weddings, and other special occasions. Additionally, he will manage the timeless Lobby lounge and the 356 AS bar.

With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Dinesh brings a plethora of culinary expertise to his new role. His skill set includes exceptional leadership and management abilities, as well as hands-on experience creating exceptional dishes and developing new concepts. 

With a passion for authentic Indian and South Indian cuisine, Chef Dinesh refined his skills through culinary school and experience at notable hotels like the Richmond Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, and Hilton. After gaining experience at these renowned hotels, he developed innovative and authentic Indian cuisine that celebrates the culture.

Throughout his career, Chef Dinesh has proven his commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences which will aid the hotel’s efforts towards extending world-class dining offerings to their patrons and consequently enriching guest experiences.
