FNP Weddings & Events has announce the appointment of Chef Sanjay Vij as the new Vice President – Culinary
A culinary maestro with over four decades of illustrious experience, Chef Vij is set to elevate the gastronomic experiences at FNP Weddings & Events along with FNP’s chain of boutique properties, Udman Hotels and Resorts.
A name synonymous with innovation and culinary artistry, Chef Vij began his journey in 1982 with the Taj Group of Hotels, rising through the ranks to hold key leadership roles across properties in India, London, Africa, and beyond. Known for his trailblazing contributions, such as creating the iconic Bull’s Eye dessert and spearheading the launch of numerous Taj dining establishments showcasing rediscovered flavours and authentic food journeys inspired by remote villages of Uttarakhand and Punjabi heartlands, Chef Vij brings a legacy of excellence to his new role. His commitment to sustainability is reflected in his efforts to innovate zero-carbon meals, crafted from farm-fresh produce sourced directly from neighbouring communities.
In his capacity as Vice President – Culinary, he will oversee and innovate the food and beverage offerings across FNP’s platforms. From crafting bespoke menus for luxury weddings to curating fine dining experiences at Udman Hotels, his role will be pivotal in aligning FNP’s culinary vision with its ethos of delivering unforgettable experiences.

He has served global dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, President George Bush, Bill Clinton, the Biden Family, Dr. Kenith Kaunda, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, bringing his signature touch to high-profile events.
