Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa, Mahabalipuram has announced the appointment of Dinesh Babu as the new Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.
With over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dinesh brings a wealth of knowledge, innovative ideas, and a passion for elevating guest experiences to his new role.
Dinesh’s impressive career began in 2007 as a Guest Delight Agent. He quickly ascended through various positions at prestigious establishments, including Poison Night Club, JW Marriott Pune, and JW Marriott Juhu, showcasing his leadership potential early on. His international experience includes a stint at The Westin, Langkawi, Malaysia, followed by a role as Director of Beverage at Westin Pune. Most recently, he served as Food & Beverage Manager at Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
In his new position at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa, Dinesh will spearhead the Food & Beverage Service department, leveraging his extensive background to enhance guest experiences and elevate service standards. His responsibilities will include,
Curating an innovative collection of signature cocktails that seamlessly blend local Chennai flavors with global trends, offering guests a unique and indulgent tasting experience that celebrates both tradition and contemporary mixology. Organizing exciting bar takeovers featuring renowned mixologists and beverage brands. Implementing manager uplifting programs to enhance team performance and guest satisfaction. Coordinating unique “Wine and Dine” events, combining culinary experiences with themed entertainment.
A native of Tamil Nadu, Dinesh is passionate about beverages and values building strong connections with people. His local roots and global experience make him an ideal fit for the diverse clientele of Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa.
