Chef Manjunath Mural started as a management trainee at Centaur Hotel, working with renowned chefs like Sanjeev Kapoor and Milind Sovani. He specialized in Indian cuisine and eventually headed the Northern Indian speciality restaurant.
His journey continued at Sahar Amby Valley before joining the retreat at Madh Island as a sous chef.

In 2006 he realised his dream of working for a multinational hotel group, joining Marriott Renaissance at Powai. Mural’s international venture began in 2006 when he arrived in Singapore as a sous chef, contributing to establishing The Song of India as a renowned Indian restaurant. He led the team to win accolades, including a bronze medal in a chef’s competition in 2006 and a gold medal in Gourmet Hunt Singapore 2007.

His career saw notable recognition winning 2nd place in a 2009 reality TV chef competition. In 20111, Mural became the corporate chef of The Song of India group, creating a new brand, Indian Express. Nominated for prestigious awards, he participated in renowned events, receiving accolades such as Chef of the Month in June 2012.
