The Suryaa Hotel, New Delhi has announced the promotion of Greesh Bindra to the position of Executive Vice President.
A distinguished veteran of the hospitality industry, Greesh brings over four decades of experience and expertise to his new role, promising to elevate the hotel’s standard of luxury and service.
Greesh’s illustrious career in the hotel industry began in 1982 with the Taj Hotels Group. His career trajectory saw a significant rise in 1996 when he joined The Hyatt Regency New Delhi as Director of Sales. Here, he honed his skills in luxury hospitality, a domain where he has since excelled. Between 1996 and 1999, he served as Regional Sales Manager at The ITC Maurya, further solidifying his reputation in the industry.
His tenure with the IHG Group was marked by remarkable contributions, culminating in his role as Regional General Manager for South West Asia. Over two decades with IHG, Greesh demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision, driving significant growth and operational excellence across various properties.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Greesh has been a proactive member of the FICCI Inbound Tourism Committee, focusing on innovative strategies to promote inbound tourism, particularly in sports tourism with an emphasis on golf. His vision to leverage India’s sporting heritage to attract international tourists underscores his commitment to enhancing the country’s tourism sector.
Greesh also served as president of SKAL Delhi, a travel and tourism networking organization, from 2019 to 2023. His tenure was marked by initiatives that fostered industry collaboration and growth.
