Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket in collaboration with DLF Avenue Saket presents a one-of-a-kind walk-in Gingerbread house. It’s the biggest Gingerbread house one has ever witnessed inside a Mall during the festive season.
It’s a walk-in GBH where Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi Saket’s bakery experts will be showcasing their best of Christmas Goodies from around the world, mostly from the heart of Europe like Stallwart Stolen (known as Christ Stolen in Germany, a yeast bread baked with dry fruits, candied citrus peel, nuts and spices covered with snow icing on top).
Pandoro a traditional Italian sweet bread, Panatone: a fruit cake that originated in Milan, Yule Log: a creamy and cheesy Swiss Roll from Luxemberg, Black Christmas Pudding: Rum flavoured thick pudding flavoured with dry fruits famous in Great Britain, Bavarian Minced Pie is a shortcrust pastry stuffed with candied fruits and black current originating from Belgium, Alpine White Forest a famous dessert of Switzerland, Plum Cake which is one of our Chef’s signature cake and many more.
Gingerbread House is a labour of love, handcrafted by Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/ Saket`s talented culinary team. Using the finest ingredients, including floral honey, castor sugar, and aromatic ginger powder, created a sturdy gingerbread dough.
Each brick is carefully baked and assembled with sweet fondant icing to form this charming masterpiece. It’s a month-long creation that highlights the dedication and skill of our expert chefs.
Traditionally, these cute and charming houses were placed in front of every home, with Santa Claus arriving to fulfil everyone’s Christmas wishes. It was a magical sight that brought joy to people of all ages during the festive season.
As well quoted by our Executive Chef Biswarup: “Curating such huge GBH was one of a kind experience for me. Though I have made a lot of GBH while working Internationally. It is really overwhelming for me and my team to be a part of this project.”
