Abid has been appointed as the Chef De Cuisine for Hyatt Regency Dehradun (Pre-Opening).
Abid joins us with 16 years of widespread culinary experience across Club Mahindra, Golden Tulip, Sarovar and Marriott hotels across India. Abid started his culinary career in 2005 as a Speciality Indian Chef Commi I. Abid, in 2007 joined The Piccadilly, Lucknow as a Commi I and in 2009 moved to the Golden Tulip Lucknow in the same capacity. In 2014, Abid moved to Jaipur and became the Senior Chef De Partie at the Sarovar Jaipur before joining the Marriott Jaipur as a junior Sous chef in 2019 and later moving to the Courtyard by Marriott Agra as a Banquet Chef. Prior to joining the Hyatt Regency Dehradun, Abid worked as Banquet Sous Chef at the Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi.
As the Chef De Cuisine for Banquets, Abid in his current role will be responsible for the entire running of the Banquets kitchen. He will be supervising the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, training staff, designing and planning menus for all hotel events while maintaining the HACCP standards throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.

Anupriya has been appointed as the Housekeeping Manager for Hyatt Regency Dehradun (Pre-Opening).
Anupriya joins us with 15 years of elevating experience across Oberoi, Hyatt & Hilton hotels in India with the Hyatt journey being 11 years and counting. From an Operational Trainee at the Oberoi Udaivilas in 2004 to a Housekeeping Team Leader at the Hyatt Regency Kolkata in 2005 to a Housekeeping Manager at Hyatt Place Hampi in 2017 and then to an Executive Housekeeper at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Jaipur (Pre-opening) in 2019, Anupriya has had an exciting yet inspiring career journey.
With a fine eye for detail, great organizational skills, and executing tasks to perfection, Anupriya is a valuable asset to the hotel as she will be responsible for ensuring health & safety, and hygiene standards throughout the hotel. Leading a diverse and multi-cultural team in a 263 key hotel, Anupriya will be overlooking all the housekeeping operations of the hotel.

Dharam has been appointed as the IS Manager for Hyatt Regency Dehradun (Pre-Opening).
An IT savant, in his current role as the IT Manager, Dharam will be responsible for the entire IT infrastructure of the hotel. This includes managing servers, desktops, all of the POS applications, and Network connectivity for the organization while ensuring the PCI compliances are being met.
An avid reader and a frequent traveller, Dharam likes to travel to places that offer natural attractions and beauty.

Abhinav Singh has been appointed as Pastry Chef at Hyatt Regency Dehradun (preopening)
Abhinav Singh has been appointed as the Pastry Chef at Hyatt Regency Dehradun.
Chef Singh personifies great attention to detail and creativity. With an in-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques, and nutrition, the chef will bring the most mesmerizing bread, pastries, and cakes to the hotel. His ethos as a proud baker is that the different varieties of flour used in baking make all the difference. He follows basic food chronology, focusing on contemporary style baking techniques in the kitchen.
In 2012, Chef Singh set foot in the culinary world at Hyatt Bangalore as a Commis Chef in the bakery and pastry department. He then joined Taj Lake Palace Udaipur, Crowne Plaza Jaipur, Novotel Pune, and DoubleTree Ahmedabad, and Conrad Bengaluru before joining Hyatt regency Dehradun.
During his free time, chef loves to drive around and explore undiscovered routes, listening to music. As a pet lover, he enjoys spending time with his pet.

Abhishek has been appointed as the Learning Manager for Hyatt Regency Dehradun (Pre-Opening).
Abhishek brings along 8 years of elevating experience across Radisson, Lalit & Marriott hotels across India, with his current role being the first with Hyatt. Having started his career as an Assistant Manager Training at the Park Inn by Radisson, Gurgaon in 2012, Abhishek went on to become the Training Manager at the Radisson Gurugram in 2017. HE later joined the Courtyard by Marriott in Agra as the Training Manager in 2018 and later moved to the JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove & Spa as an Assistant Training Manager in 2020.
Abhishek brings along a diverse experience across the Human Resources function with a specialisation towards Learning & Development. In his current role, Abhishek is responsible for the development and training of the hotel staff.
He will be focusing on interdepartmental training of the employees, managing and executing employee growth through management training programs, overlooking the industrial trainee program, and other areas of employee wellbeing, development in growth. He will be overseeing the Training function across all functions to ensure that the standards of service are being met at all times.

Manish brings along 9 years of diverse experience across Radisson & Marriott hotels in India. Manish started his career as a Guest Service Associate at the Radisson Blu Agra in 2012. He later moved to JW Marriott Aerocity in 2013 as a Front Office Associate (Pre-opening) and then went on to be promoted to a Duty Manager at JW Marriott Mussoorie in 2015.
Manish joined the Renaissance Lucknow as the department head (Pre-opening) in 2016. In 2018, he went back as Front Desk Manager and was later promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager at the JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa over the years and moved to the JW Marriott Chandigarh as the Front Office Manager in early 2021.

Mayank joins us with 13 years of enriching experience across Ark & Marriott Hotels in India. Being a budget-conscious person yet someone who can source products that meet the needs of the various hotel departments, Mayank ensures that the hotel operates smoothly by having all the necessities in stock and through his resourcefulness.
As the Materials Manager, Mayank in his current role will be responsible for the procurement function of the first Hyatt hotel in Uttarakhand.

Nasheet has been appointed as the Director of Events for Hyatt Regency Dehradun (Pre-Opening).
Nasheet brings along years of enriching experience across Hyatt hotels in India, working in various properties throughout his decade long tenure in Hyatt. Nasheet started his career in Park Hyatt Hyderabad as an Events Coordinator in 2011. During his tenure at the Park Hyatt Hyderabad, Nasheet was promoted to Events Executive and moved on to Hyatt Regency Gurgaon as an Event Planning Manager in 2014.
Post his stint up North, he moved on to the eastern part of the country to Hyatt Regency Kolkata and was promoted to the Senior Event Sales Manager during his couple of years stint there. His previous role was in Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty where he joined as a Senior Event Sales Manager and was later elevated to the role of Associate Director of Events.
With a natural talent in Sales, Nasheet, in his current role, will be responsible for the overall smooth operation of the Event Sales department. The role will require him to generate sales leads, convert potential sales to guaranteed business, and overall focus on increasing the revenue of the events department. With the current trend majorly shifting to the Wedding segment, the entire Wedding portfolio will also be managed and overlooked by him and will be one of the most key demand drivers for the hotel apart from MICE.
Working together with the Food & Beverage and the Rooms Division department Nasheet will ensure that all of the hotel standards are being met during the events no matter their size and the hotel is able to deliver energizing and memorable experience to the guests and establish the hotel as the next exciting destination within the country.

Sumit joins us with 14 years of elevating experience across Jaypee, Ramada & Marriott Hotels across India and Australia. Starting his career as Security for a well-reputed Private Security Agency in Australia in 2007, Sumit moved back to India and joined JW Marriott Chandigarh in 2011 as a Loss Prevention Executive. In 2015, he moved to the Ramada Plaza in Zirakpur, Chandigarh, as the Assistant Security Manager and later joined the Jaypee Hotel & Resort in Mussoorie as the Deputy Manager Security. From 2017 onwards, Sumit worked as the Multi-Property Associate Director of Loss Prevention for Marriot Hotels in locations such as Hyderabad and Agra.
With 14 years of widespread experience in Hotel Security & Loss Prevention, in his current role, Sumit will be responsible for all areas of security for the entire hotel and the well-being and safety of the hotel guests and staff. He will also be the liaison between the hotel and local authorities.

Tenzin joins us with 18 years of enriching experience across Hyatt, Shangri-La, Lalit & Hilton hotels in India. Starting as a Commi II for Ellores in 2003, Tenzin moved to the Hyatt Regency New Delhi as a Commi II in 2004. Between 2004 and 2021, Tenzin work at hotels such as Shangri-La, New Delhi, Royal Orchid, Bangalore, Leela Place, Bangalore, Hilton Chennai, The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore, and The Oterra hotel Bangalore in various capacities such as a Commi, Kitchen Executive, Sous chef, and Chef De Cuisine respectively.
With a speciality in Japanese cuisine including Teppanyaki, and Sushi, Tenzin’s career journey has been an inspiring one.
As the Chef De Cuisine in Beyul, Tenzin in her current role will be responsible for training staff, supervising the day-to-day kitchen operations, and menu planning and design.
