IHCL announces opening of 4th Ginger hotel in Mumbai with new Ginger Goregaon

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company announced the opening of Ginger Goregaon in Mumbai.

With this, the Ginger brand strengthens its presence in the financial capital of India. The hotel is designed around the brand’s lean luxe design and service philosophy of offering a vibrant, contemporary, and seamless hospitality experience to its guests.

Commenting on the occasion, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, stated, “Ginger Goregaon marks the opening of IHCL’s tenth hotel across brands in India’s strongest hospitality market. This hotel will tap into the potential of Goregaon, which is an emerging business hub in the city. We are delighted to partner with Pen Workers Seating Company for this property.”

With 102 rooms, the re-imagined Ginger Goregaon is strategically located off the Western Express Highway, with easy access to NESCO IT Park, the NESCO Exhibition Centre (Bombay Exhibition Centre) and Film City. The hotel features Ginger’s newly designed signature rooms, a fitness centre and an all-day diner. 

A key business and residential hub in Mumbai, Goregaon comprises major corporate and IT parks, shopping malls and industrial zones. It is also popular among travellers for its renowned urban forest – Aarey Colony, which is an extension of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 13 hotels in Mumbai, including three under development.
