ITC Hotels expands Fortune Hotels brand by adding 21 Properties to strengthen presence across regions

ITC Hotels Limited announced the continued expansion of its Fortune Hotels brand during the Financial Year 2024–25, with 14 new signings and 7 openings across India and Nepal. The move further consolidates the brand’s presence in both emerging markets and gateway destinations, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities within the upscale-to-midmarket hospitality segment.
New hotel openings during the year include properties in Pahalgam, Puri, Chennai, Candolim (Goa), Palampur (Himachal Pradesh), Ekta Nagar (Gujarat), and Fortune’s first international hotel in Bhaktapur, Nepal.
The latest signings extend the Fortune portfolio to cities such as Goa, Kolkata, Chennai, Rishikesh, Indore, Bhimtal, Mukteshwar, Gorakhpur, Mohali, Surat, and Ayodhya.
As of 31 March 2025, the Fortune brand includes 78 hotels, with 56 operational properties across India and Nepal and 22 in the pipeline. The brand now has a presence in more than 65 cities across the two countries.

Among the key recent signings:
- Fortune Arambol Goa, located in North Goa, is the fourth Fortune property in the state. It offers access to Arambol Beach, Kerim Beach, Terekhol Fort, and Mandrem Beach and targets both business and leisure travellers.
- Fortune Select OMR Chennai is positioned in Karapakkam, a commercial hub between Thoraipakkam and Sholinganallur. The hotel includes premium rooms, a spa, swimming pool, F&B options, and banquet spaces.
- Fortune EM Bypass Kolkata, the second Fortune hotel in the city and sixth in West Bengal, is located near EM Bypass and speciality hospitals, catering to modern travellers.
- Fortune Park Indore is the brand’s first property in Madhya Pradesh. Located in the commercial hub of the city, it aims to serve business guests and those visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. It includes premium amenities and elegant banquet facilities.
- Fortune Park Mukteshwar sits in the Satbunga area of Mukteshwar, overlooking the Himalayas. The upscale property is 50 km from Nainital and 343 km from Delhi.
- Fortune Park Surat, a greenfield development in Piplod, is Fortune Hotels’ 10th alliance in Gujarat. The city is highlighted as a growth hub under the Surat Special Economic Region initiative.
- Fortune Park Mohali, Punjab, is also a greenfield project, set to serve the expanding Chandigarh Tri-City area. Mohali has become a growing administrative and commercial centre supported by connectivity infrastructure like the Chandigarh International Airport.
With this expansion, Fortune Hotels continues to build on its positioning as a leading player in India’s midmarket and upscale hospitality space.
