Hyatt Place Vadodara, Hyatt India’s third venture in the state of Gujarat, has appointed Kris Reynolds as their Assistant General Manager of Rooms Division.
This appointment marks his first stint in an operational role from his extensive hospitality sales career of over 14 years.
Having been associated with the hotel since its pre-opening stage, Kris has played a pivotal role in establishing and bolstering the positioning of Hyatt Place Vadodara in the city in different capacities, i.e., Director of Sales (2021) and Director of Sales & Marketing (2022).
As AGM, Kris Reynolds will spearhead the Front Office and Housekeeping departments alongside overseeing the Sales & Marketing of the hotel.
He has spent over 11 years with Hyatt India and has climbed the ladder steadily, starting from the position of Sales Executive in 2010 with Hyatt Hotels Corporation. In 2012, he was appointed as Sales Manager at Grand Hyatt Goa and was subsequently elevated to Senior Sales Manager in 2014.
In 2015, he took up an assignment with Grand Hyatt Mumbai as Senior Sales Manager and was later appointed as Associate Director of Sales in 2016 at the same flagship property. It was in 2017 that he moved back to Grand Hyatt Goa as Director of Sales, followed by his move to Park Hyatt Chennai as Director of Sales in 2020.
He has also worked with other prestigious brands such as Westin and Ramada in his career.
Kris’ exceptional managerial skills coupled with his innate sense of empathy towards guests and colleagues have enabled him to deal with a broad spectrum of challenges throughout his career and will continue to be an asset in furthering the growth of Hyatt Place Vadodara.
