Puneet Chhatwal has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH), succeeding Nakul Anand, who retired this week from his position at FAITH and as a member of the Hotel Association of India (HAI) Executive Committee.
The announcement was made by Rajiv Mehra, Honorary Secretary of FAITH.
Puneet Chhatwal, currently the Managing Director and CEO of Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), will also maintain his role as President of HAI, a position to which he was re-elected in 2022.
In his new role at FAITH, Chhatwal aims to continue the organization’s initiatives and objectives, focusing on strong policy advocacy for the tourism and hospitality industry. He expressed his commitment to building on the legacy of Anand, emphasizing the importance of member support in his endeavors.
The Board expressed its deep appreciation for Nakul Anand’s contributions and wished him well in his future endeavors.
Puneet Chhatwal, with his extensive experience and understanding of the industry, is poised to lead FAITH effectively in its future undertakings.
