New GM Samuel Singh brings operational and sales experience to Hanric By Eight Continents Ikshana Luxe
Hanric By Eight Continents Ikshana Luxe, Nainital has announced that it is appointing Samuel Singh as the new General Manager.
A 2007 graduate from IHM Meerut, one of India’s leading hotel management institutes, he began his journey in the hospitality sector as a Management Trainee with RKHS, part of Sodexo. He then commenced his operational career at the Front Office Department of Ramada Plaza JHV, Varanasi.
Over the years, Samuel has held varied roles across prominent organisations including Club Mahindra, Cox & Kings, India Group of Hotels, Continental Hotels, Park Regis Goa, and Intercontinental Vijay, where he served as Rooms Division Manager. His career trajectory later took a turn towards sales, as he assumed the role of Cluster Sales Manager – Head of Leisure Sales at Lebua Hotels.
Before taking up his current role, Samuel Singh was General Manager in a Cluster Role with Countryside Hotels & Resorts in Uttarakhand, overseeing multiple properties and leading cross-functional teams.
Commenting on his new role, Samuel said, “I’ve always believed that hospitality is as much about people as it is about place. I look forward to contributing meaningfully to the team and the guest experience.”
Outside of work, Samuel Singh is an avid traveller with a keen interest in exploring new destinations, cultures, and cuisines, and stays closely attuned to evolving trends within the hospitality industry.
