Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty has announced the appointment of Sandeep Mohan as its new Assistant Director of F&B.
Sandeep graduated from Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Kovalam and joined Kumarokom Lake Resort Kerala as a Supervisory Trainee in May 2007. This was followed by a six month internship at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai. At the culmination of his internship he was hired as a Restaurant Server in May 2008. He was subsequently promoted to a F&B Supervisor in August 2010.
In September 2012, Sandeep took his first international assignment at the Coral Beach Hotel, Dar e Salaam Tanzania as an Assistant Manager.
A year later he moved to the Four Seasons Hotel Maldives as a Supervisor and over the next five years, grew to the role of and Outlets Manager.
Sandeep’s next assignment took him to Jumeirah AI Naseem, Dubai where he joined as Outlets Manager. The azure blue waters of Maldives beckoned Sandeep back in in November 2020 and he returned to the Four Seasons Hotel Maldives as a Senior Outlet Manager and getting promoted to a Bar and Restaurant Manager in October 2022, a position he held until joining the property.
Sandeep is a passionate food and beverage person who loves to travel and learn new things, and make new friends. he is an adventurous, curious individual with a zest for flavors, cultures, and connections. He spent his spare time planning trips, listening to Indian music, restaurant & bar hopping.
Commenting on his appointment, Sandeep Mohan said, “I feel very excited and enthusiastic about the prospect of joining Hyatt. I am eager to contribute my skills that I learned from my colleagues and be a part of such a reputable organisation.”
