New York-based company LDV Hospitality has opened its famed Italian dining concept, Scarpetta, at the newly opened luxurious resort Waldorf Astoria in Lusail, Doha.
Waldorf Astoria Lusail, one of Hilton’s luxury brands of iconic hotels is committed to personal service and culinary excellence through offering luxury restaurants and has now added Scarpetta to its extensive list of dining experiences.

At the celebratory event held on February 27th 2023 to mark its grand opening, members of the media, notable influencers, and culinary enthusiasts had the opportunity to experience the luxurious and sophisticated ambiance of Scarpetta’s new location and unparalleled dining experience.

The new Scarpetta at Waldorf Astoria Lusail Doha is designed by David Collins Studio, who put their heart and soul into reinterpreting traditional Italianate architectural details with a mid-century twist. The design features a contemporary interpretation of Italian architecture, through the use of Palladiana flooring, coloured marble, and travertine columns influenced by the brand’s Italian cuisine. The venue boasts an effortlessly chic dinner setting that brings LDV’s mission of La Dolce Vita to life with its indoor and al fresco dining venues, an extensive cigar lounge, private dining, and a walk-in humidor.
The philosophy of Scarpetta’s kitchen is to create bold flavors by amplifying the essence of seasonal ingredients. Their signature dishes, primarily their delectable pasta are prepared in-house daily using only the best, locally sourced ingredients. Scarpetta’s most popular Spaghetti Tomato & Basil is nothing short of classic simplicity in both taste and preparation. The Italian hotspot also offers a variety of mouthwatering starters and signature mocktails which are not to miss.
