Shobhit Khattri appointed Associate VP of Development for Minor Hotels in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Shobhit Khattri as Associate Vice President of Development for India, Nepal, and Bangladesh, as the group continues to grow its footprint across the South Asian region.
Based in New Delhi, Shobhit Khattri will report to Omar Romero, Chief Development & Luxury Officer for Minor Hotels, and will work in coordination with the Asia Business Development team. His responsibilities include identifying new development opportunities across the three countries, overseeing the process from site identification through to hotel openings, and supporting the expansion of Minor Hotels’ brand portfolio, particularly in India. He will also collaborate with the operations team to ensure project alignment with brand requirements and operational efficiency.
Shobhit Khattri brings over 17 years of experience in hospitality development. He began his career in 2008 with The Indian Hotels Company Limited, contributing to the expansion of the TAJ brand in India, the Middle East, and Africa. In 2011, he joined IHG, where he led development in Southwest Asia and later managed projects across the Middle East and Africa.
Shobhit Khattri holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Delhi University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the International Management Institute, Delhi.
