The Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new property on the picturesque Willingdon Island in Kochi
The land was leased to EIH Associated Hotels Limited for 30 years by Cochin Port Trust and the hotel was operating under the brand name Trident. The property has now been sub-leased to Concept Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. for the residual period of lease and will be operating under the brand name of The Fern – An Ecotel Hotel, Kochi.
Speaking on the occasion, Suhail Kannampilly, Managing Director, The Fern Hotels & Resorts, commented “We are pleased to set foot in Kerala with the addition of this hotel to our portfolio. With this launch, we look forward to expanding our footprint in ‘God’s own county’ Kerala.”
Nestled on Willingdon Island, the hotel boasts 85 elegantly designed rooms that seamlessly blend modern comfort. Guests can enjoy the serene landscapes and find themselves immersed in the soothing sounds of nature, creating an ideal environment for both leisure and business pursuits. An all-day dining restaurant accommodating up to 70 guests, the hotel also has an outdoor Seafood restaurant. The menu will showcase a rich tapestry of local and international cuisine, emphasizing fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
