The delegation included Ms Nombulelo Guliwe, CEO of South African Tourism, Mr Cedrick C. Crowley, Deputy High Commissioner, and Ms Monita Carolissen, Consul in Charge, who reinforced South Africa’s focus on fostering robust bilateral relations.

The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment remains a key focus area for South African Tourism, representing 19.1% of Indian travellers within the broader 49.7% MICE and business travel category.

At the Corporate Think Tank at ITC Maratha Mumbai, South African Tourism highlighted its focus on MICE, with the event being significantly enriched by the involvement of senior corporate travel leaders from India’s leading MNCs and corporate houses. The presence of former Hub Head – MEISEA, South African Tourism, Neliswa Nkani added weight to the discussions.
