The Oterra Hotels has announced the promotion of Srinivas Adiga to General Manager of their Bengaluru Electronics City property.
This appointment recognizes Srinivas’s exceptional leadership, operational expertise, and unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction, all qualities that have been instrumental in his impressive career trajectory.
Srinivas brings over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having honed his skills with renowned brands like Marriott, Hilton, and IHG. His journey began in 2006 with Courtyard by Marriott, where he quickly rose through the ranks, gaining invaluable experience in guest service, pre-opening operations, and team leadership.
This dedication to excellence continued throughout his career. At Hilton Chennai, he played a pivotal role in setting up the department, establishing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and training the team. His time with DoubleTree by Hilton and Garden Inn further solidified his operational acumen, where he implemented successful strategies to boost revenue, enhance guest experience, and foster a positive team environment.
In 2016, Srinivas Adiga joined Crowne Plaza Bengaluru, where his leadership resulted in significant achievements, including the introduction of elite guest services at the Club Lounge, exceeding brand standards with a 97% audit score, and achieving an impressive 88% profitability for the Room Division.
His commitment to The Oterra brand has been unwavering. Following the brand conversion in 2018, he was promoted to Executive Assistant Manager. He spearheaded the development of a loyalty program for both guests and business partners, implemented a Guest Experience Management platform, and was instrumental in guiding the hotel through the post-pandemic recovery. Under his leadership, profitability rose from 40% to 50%, and TripAdvisor ranking soared from 10th to 3rd position.
