Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport announced the appointment of Sunil Sharma as the Director of Food & Beverage.
Hailing from Himachal Pradesh, Sunil was brought up in the capital city, Delhi, and is a Hospitality Management graduate holding a degree in Economics Honors. Sunil brings with him over a decade of experience in the Hospitality Industry and has worked in multi-national hotel chains like Waldorf Astoria in the UAE, The Torch in Doha, Hilton Hotels in the Middle East, and India, The Leela Palace in Chennai and Mumbai. He is also a certified Sake Sommelier and has rich experience in managing Indian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, and European aspects of F&B Service. He loves exploring the world of gastronomy and beverages and is an adventure sports enthusiast.
On joining Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, Sunil Sharma says; “I am really excited to join the prestigious hotel. The vibe and positivity within the team is something I have never experienced before.” Talking about how Covid has changed the way we look at the hospitality industry, he adds; “Change is the only constant. Hotels have also learnt to adapt with ghost kitchens, focusing more than ever on healthy eating, home deliveries, and contactless experiences. We are all learning and evolving from our daily experiences and there is a lot yet to unfold in the new realm of hospitality.”
