The Westin Pune Koregaon Park recently welcomed Dinesh Babu as the Director of Beverages. An industry expert, Dinesh holds an experience of more than 10 years in the hospitality industry. He will work to bring new life to the hotel’s beverage programmes and menus.
As the Director of Beverages, Dinesh will be responsible for managing the daily operations of all outlets, maintaining established quality and service standards and responding to customers trends and needs to ensure outstanding experience. He thrives on developing new ideas and concepts, and innovative and creative ways to improve the service standards and values to delight guests.
A driven professional, Dinesh has strong skills in leadership, ability to build relationships, establish trust, train people to achieve their potential while attaining corporate objectives. Prior to joining The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, he worked as the Beverage Manager with The Westin Langkawi Resort and Spa.
Dinesh has completed his Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Science from the Bharath College of Science and Management, Thanjore. He has completed his Craftsmanship Course in Bartending from the Indian Institute of Bartending, Chennai (Affilated with the World Bartenders Training Organisation, WBTO), British Columbia, Canada, and relevant courses on Mixology, Flair Bartending, F&B Controls, Inventory.
Dinesh was also awarded as the “JW Commander – Executive of the Month” for June 2013. He started his career at The Accord Metropolitan – Chennai. His passion for service and building new relationships attracted him to the service industry and has seen him rapidly rise through several positions. Speaking of his appointment, Dinesh said, “I am delighted to be part of the team at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park and look forward to my journey over here”.
