Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore has appointed Uttam Dey as Chef De Cuisine.
From the Food capitals of India, Kolkata, and Delhi to the garden city, Uttam Dey has honed his management and culinary skills working with some of the best kitchen teams across the country.
He is a detail-oriented professional, known for his exceptional ability to attend to every customer feedback and implement ways to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. Uttam Dey feels the best cuisines are from India and has a special interest in reviving and recreating the long-lost authentic regional recipes and bringing them back into the mainstream culinary scene of India.
In his current role, Uttam Dey will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with local vendors, managing day-to-day kitchen operations including sanitation requirements and maintenance of kitchen equipment over and above curating the menu for daily consumption and special occasions.
After completing his diploma in Hospitality Management from I.S.M.S Midnapore, Uttam went to work with iconic hospitality brands across the country such as Hyatt Regency Kolkata, The Lalit Grand Palace, Srinagar, Hindustan International Kolkata, Mansingh Palace, Clarks Amer, to name just a few.
When he is not working, you will find him travelling to unknown destinations or indulging in playing video games.
