Le Meridien Kochi has announced the appointment of Vishnu P.M as the new Director of Finance
Vishnu P.M is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of rich experience in the hospitality industry and a proven track record of driving strategic decision-making, ensuring compliance, and optimizing financial performance. Vishnu was previously heading the Finance Department at The Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, where he was known for his exceptional expertise across all facets of hotel finance management and his meticulous approach to financial forecasting and critical evaluation of the hotel’s financial strategies.
Prior to his role with Four Points he was the Financial Controller with Ibis Kochi City Centre where he spearheaded the Finance and Purchase Departments, oversee financial planning and audits helping guide the organization in aligning its financial strategies, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, presenting annual business plans, budgets, managing audits including internal, tax, GST, licensing and legal aspects of hotel operations.
An MBA graduate in Finance, he began his career with Crowne Plaza Kochi in 2013 as a Finance Associate and later joined the Marriott family beginning as a Finance Executive with Marriott Kochi and has climbed the ladder becoming the Asst Manager Finance in the year 2016.
In 2018 Vishnu was promoted as the Finance Manager for Marriott Kochi and progressively moved on to become the Assistant Financial Controller with Renaissance Bangalore in the year 2020. He later moved to Kochi joining Ibis as their Financial Controller before moving back to the Marriott family with Four Points by Sheraton in the year 2022 where he was the Director of Finance.
